1. Ownership & Organizational Distinction (NEW – IMPORTANT)
Mahjpedia is a mobile application and digital platform owned and operated by MahjCon, LLC, a for-profit limited liability company.
Mahjpedia is not owned by, operated by, affiliated with, or financially connected to MahjCon, Inc., a Florida nonprofit organization recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable entity.
Although Mahjpedia content may be displayed or referenced on websites associated with MahjCon, Inc., all Mahjpedia subscriptions, app operations, content, revenue, and liabilities belong solely to MahjCon, LLC and do not constitute charitable activities or donations.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Mahjpedia, brought to you by MahjCon, LLC.
By accessing or using our website or mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App or services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. License
MahjCon, LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property
All content available through the App—including text, graphics, logos, icons, instructional materials, and software—is the exclusive property of MahjCon, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without express written permission from MahjCon, LLC.
5. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewals
Certain features of the App require a paid subscription.
By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge and agree that:

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period

Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to renewal

Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your app store account settings
Subscription fees are not tax-deductible and do not constitute charitable donations.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose;

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems;

Interfere with the operation of the App;

Upload or transmit viruses or harmful code.
7. Termination
MahjCon, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at its sole discretion, without notice, for violations of these Terms or conduct deemed harmful to the App or its users.
8. Disclaimer
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
MahjCon, LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the App.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MahjCon, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App or inability to access its services.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, County of Sumter, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to Terms
MahjCon, LLC may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on the website and, when appropriate, communicated via email.
