ID16-Same Discards in a Row
Question: I sometimes hear other players say “same” when discarding a tile that is identical to the previously discarded tile. Is this acceptable?
Answer: Yes, it is. A follow up tile that is identical to the previously discarded tile, may be named “same.” This ruling is not found in Mah Jongg Made Easy.
