Question: Is there a process to doing a Joker Exchange?

Answer: Yes, here is the process:

Joker Exchange Etiquette

Joker Exchanges can only be done during your turn. Please follow these steps for proper etiquette when exchanging a Joker from another player’s rack:

  1. Take your turn first. Pick a tile from the wall or call a discard before performing your Joker Exchange.

  2. Announce politely. Say to the player, “May I have your Joker, please?”

  3. Hand-to-hand exchange. Give your natural tile directly to the player and let them hand the Joker back to you. Tiles should not be placed on the table.

⚠️ If you do not announce your Joker Exchange and your tile touches the table, it is considered a discard and the Joker can no longer be exchanged.

  4. Important restriction. If you make a Joker Exchange after calling a tile, the Joker cannot be used to complete that exposure. It must go into your rack to be used later.
